Fèis Rois provides a large range of activities and oportunities for a range of different audiences - over the years content had become fragmented across a range of different pages. Collating and creating a site architecture enabled us to ensure that we incorporated all elements of the site and make sure that users were able to find the right information for them at the point of need.
Planning and design of the site helps to make sure that everyone involved in the project knows what will go where - and helps to identify any content that hasn't been considered or anything that isn't clear for users right from the outset.
The existing identity had been applied in a variety of ways across different media over the years, we therefore wanted to focus on the simplest available elements to create more clarity and focus. Colours were therefore restricted across the site (with the exception of photographs) to just 3 - excluding the use of grayscales or any tints or shades.
